Esa means European Scuba Agency. Even if its name looks new inside the scuba diving world, its influence and success has no equals.
Thanks to the hard work of its promoters, who are very experienced divers, Esa boasts its standards with an high safety level.
Continuous communication between Esa office, instructors, dive centers and divers are clear sign of professional structure.
There is a particular attention for environmental knowledge and its respect (ecology@esaweb.net) that awakened divers’ as much as no-divers’ .

Smile diver

Esa Smile Diver was born as an underwater discovery program, respecting safety standards and making the scuba diving activity easy and funny for anybody who, for age reason, cannot be certified yet.

Easy diver

The Easy diver program do not take the place of a course but gives the opportunity to try scuba diving activities on safety rules, simply and having fun. It is a new way to look to the underwater world.

New diver

This course is the right one for anybody who wants a graduate introduction to scuba diving. Maximum depth allowed 10mt. With a professional diver as a buddy. Course structure: 2 theory sections, 2 confined water and 2 open water.

Open water diver

This course allows divers to dive by themselves together with a buddy having the same level or more, till a 18mt depth.
It is composed of 5 theory sections, 5 confined water, 4 open water, an aquatic proof and a final exam.


Advanced diver

This course improves diver experience in 5 areas: computer dive, navigation dive, deep dive, hover dive, night dive or eco dive.
It is composed of 5 theory sections, 5 open water and a final exam.

Prevention & Rescue

During this course the diver learns to preview and assist another diver during a scuba diving accident. It is composed of 6 theory sections and 4 open water practices . To attend this course you need to have 20 certified dives and you need to have completed a first aid course or similar.

Hi diver

It is the high level of Esa recreational diving. You must be certified at Esa first aid, Esa prevention and rescue diver, 3 Esa specialities and experienced 60 certified dives.

Specialty diver

These certifications improve diver experience in a particular dive area, using the right technique. An Esa instructor will help you to choose the right speciality.

First aid

This course gives you the basic tools to solve or assist a scuba diving or non-diving accident. Divers and non-divers can get this certification in about 10 hours, listening to the lessons instructor and practicing with a mannequin.

Aquatrek

It is Esa snorkelling program. You can be an Open water explorer or be interested more for Eco explorer, 2 complete programs where people learn to snorkelling on safety and respecting the aquatic environment.

Dive leader

This certification level is the first step into dive professional. Working closely with an Esa pro-level instructor you will study on dive leader manual, listen to instructor lessons and complete water skills and stamina exercises in both confined and open water.
The Esa dive leader final aim is to lead divers to operate in a place similar to the one where they trained and after some adjustment, also in an exotic resort.
